About MAWC

MAWC – Motorcycle Association of the Western Cape
Serving and uniting the biking community since 1994, MAWC is the central governing body for motorcycle clubs in the Western Cape. Every two years, a new executive committee is democratically elected to guide and represent our members. Our mission is to support riders, promote safe riding practices, and foster a strong sense of community among bikers.

Objectives of the MAWC

  • 3.1 To serve and unite the Motorcyclist Clubs and Groups in the Western Cape.
  • 3.2 To mediate impartially in disputes between Motorcyclist Clubs, Groups, or members.
  • 3.3 To promote and improve the image of motorcycling to the general public of South Africa.
  • 3.4 To assist with safety measures at events for the benefit of all motorcyclists and the public when required.
  • 3.5 To function as a Non-Profit Organization (NPO).
  • 3.6 To operate as a non-racial, non-political, and non-denominational body, and to reserve the right of admission to MAWC.
  • 3.7 To liaise as a body between international clubs, associations, unions, and governmental institutions.
